“Respect India’s bilateral ties…” UK Foreign Secy on India’s stance on Russia-Ukraine conflict

New Delhi, March 01 (ANI): Amid Russia’s ascending aggression on already ravaged Ukraine, India continues to remain on its ‘unwavering’ stance as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already said “this is not era of war’, Britain’s Foreign Secretary on March 01 affirmed that he respects New Delhi’s judgement to have bilateral ties with countries of its choice and went to assert that UK, however, considers Moscow’s invasion on Kyiv as “unacceptable”. Speaking exclusively to ANI, the British Minister said, “For UK, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is unacceptable. We’re helping to defend the UN charter, sovereignty and territorial integrity. We hope this war comes to a swift conclusion. I respect India’s judgement to have bilateral relations with countries of its choice.”
