Morbi (Gujarat), Aug 07, 2026 (ANI): The water in a well located on a farmer's land in Veerparda village of Morbi taluka in Gujarat has been observed undulating. District Collector has ordered a detailed report from the groundwater research team.
“... Based on reports circulating on social media about the well in Virparda, district geologists visited the site today. Their preliminary assessment suggests the water movement is likely caused by trapped air beneath the water. As the trapped air shifts, it creates movement on the water's surface... Gujarat Groundwater Research Institute has also been asked to conduct a detailed study and submit a report…,” said Collector Swapnil Khare.
