New Delhi, September 21, 2025 (ANI): Union Minister Piyush Goyal said farmers’ welfare will remain at the core of India’s trade negotiations as the country aims to double agricultural and agri-based exports within the next five years. Speaking ahead of the Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC 2025), scheduled for October 30-31 at Bharat Mandapam, Goyal highlighted that India will go beyond being the world’s largest rice exporter to becoming the most trusted global brand, while ensuring no compromise on farmers’ interests.
