“Digging in bunkers” Wife of Mohd Ahmed reveals husband was deceived by job agency, urges help

Arshiya Begum, wife of Hyderabad resident Mohammed Ahmed, who is currently stranded in Russia, revealed that her husband was deceived by a job agency. She said "...My husband contacted an agency to go to the Gulf countries for a job and the agency assured him that he would get a job there, PR etc...When he reached Russia, the agency did not respond to him...My husband does not even know the Russian language; he was given a contract for digging in the bunkers and he would be offered a job in construction-related work...We had no idea regarding what he is doing there, till we saw his video appealing for help from the Central government, as he can't fight on the frontlines, he is injured..."
