Thimpu (Bhutan), Mar 23 (ANI): Prime Minister of Bhutan, Dasho Tshering Tobgay, extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being honored with Bhutan's highest civilian award, the 'Order of the Druk Gyalpo,' during Prime Minister Modi's recent two-day state visit to the neighboring nation. Dasho Tshering Tobgay emphasized that Prime Minister Modi holds the distinction of being the first foreign recipient of this prestigious award, expressing the immense happiness and pride felt by the people of Bhutan. “I join all the people of Bhutan in congratulating my friend PM Modi for receiving the highest civilian award in Bhutan. He is the first foreigner to receive it so we are very proud and happy...In a while, PM Modi is going to inaugurate this wonderful hospital...it has been fully funded by the Govt of India”, said Dasho Tshering Tobgay.
