Seoul [South Korea], July 11: Besides the cast members such as Thanh Hien, Thanh Binh, Huynh Hong Loan, Tu Tri..., Le Thu's role in 'Debt of Life, Borrowed and Repaid' also received attention from viewers when the film aired.
Sharing with us, Le Thu expressed her gratitude for the audience's reception of her role as Kim Ngan as well as the project " Debts of Life, Borrowed and Repaid" . According to the 8X beauty, what makes her happy is that people not only watch the film, but also empathize with the character's fate.
Viewers left many comments, ranging from hatred and anger to outrage, even going to her personal page to insult the character, using very harsh words. Although she knew it was just a reaction to watching the film, the actress sometimes felt a little sad.
"Later on, the audience felt sorry for the character Kim Ngan, and many people messaged me saying they cried along with the character and wished for a gentler ending for Kim Ngan. For an actress, that is the greatest gift and also the motivation for me to try harder in the next projects," the beauty confided.
Regarding how she landed the role of Kim Ngan, the 9X beauty said she was surprised to receive a call from the producers. As soon as she learned it was a period drama and carefully read the script, Le Thu was thrilled. "Kim Ngan is an interesting character with many layers of psychology and many challenges. I feel lucky to have been given this opportunity by the director and producers," the actress shared.
According to Le Thu, the similarity between her and the character is that both are emotional, always cherishing their family and loved ones. However, while Kim Ngan lives more by her emotions, in real life, the actress is quite rational.
"Kim Ngan is too naive and loves blindly. Because she places so much trust in the person she loves, she's easily manipulated, and many decisions stem from emotions rather than rationality. As for me, I think that in love, besides sincerity, you also need to be rational to know what is right and what is good for you. Loving wholeheartedly is beautiful, but you also need to know how to love and protect yourself," she shared.

Perhaps because her real-life personality is different from Kim Ngan's, Le Thu had to spend a lot of time understanding the character's psychology when playing the role. She further revealed: "I don't judge Kim Ngan's choices, but try to understand why she acts the way she does. Only when I understand that can I convey the character's story in the most authentic way."
In the film "Debt of Life, Borrowing and Paying Back ," Le Thu acted alongside veteran actors such as Thanh Hien and Thanh Binh... For the beautiful actress, it was a valuable experience. Before filming began, the 9X actress was quite worried. But after the first few meetings, seeing everyone happy, close, and treating each other like family, she felt more comfortable.
"Working with the senior actors and actresses has been an opportunity for me to learn, from character analysis to professionalism on set. Everyone always supports each other during filming, so even with many emotionally intense scenes, I still have the confidence to perform the role well," Le Thu shared.
Le Thu also admitted that she hadn't thought the project would spread so widely on social media . The positive reception has changed her life. "Everywhere I go, people call out the character's name or ask about the film, which makes me very happy. But I also remind myself to work harder to be worthy of the audience's love," the 30-year-old beauty shared.
Despite her striking height and beautiful appearance, Le Thu did not continue to try her luck in beauty pageants to seek opportunities, but instead diligently pursued acting roles. She said that each stage of her life has different goals. The actress admitted that beauty pageants brought many opportunities and helped her mature. But when she ventured into acting, she realized that this is the job that makes her happy and that she wants to pursue long-term.
"Acting has taught me to listen, to put myself in others' shoes, and to live more emotionally. I get to embody many different characters and do many different jobs. Each character brings its own experiences and lessons, helping me grow not only professionally but also in life," she confided.
