Sơn Tùng M-TP makes a comeback with the rapper behind the billion-view hit 'Taste

Seoul [South Korea], May 24: Singer Sơn Tùng M-TP has announced a new music project titled Come My Way, collaborating with American rapper Tyga. According to the team behind the project, the song will be released globally across digital music platforms in different time zones.
The collaboration was revealed through an official poster shared on both artists' social media platforms. This marks Sơn Tùng M-TP's latest international project since working with Snoop Dogg on the song Hay Trao Cho Anh in 2019. At the time, the release gained attention both in Vietnam and internationally as one of the rare collaborations between a Vietnamese artist and a major American rapper.
Who is the rapper collaborating with Sơn Tùng?
Tyga, whose real name is Micheal Ray Stevenson, was born in 1989 in California, USA. He is known for hit songs like Rack City and Loyal, while Taste surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. He has also collaborated with artists such as Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Nicki Minaj. Over nearly two decades in the American hip-hop scene, Tyga has received nominations at several major music awards.
In 2025, Tyga released the album NSFW featuring artists including Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla $ign, and Big Sean. The same year, he also launched the Red Light Tour produced by Live Nation.
Meanwhile, Sơn Tùng M-TP continues to stay active in music with both domestic and international projects. He previously appeared on the Billboard Global charts and became the first Vietnamese artist to reach 10 million YouTube subscribers.
According to figures shared by his team, Sơn Tùng M-TP's music has accumulated more than 4.8 billion YouTube views and over 810 million Spotify streams. He also maintains a massive following across social media platforms.
In recent years, collaborations between Asian and Western artists have become increasingly common, with many Asian singers partnering with international stars to expand their reach and connect with global audiences.
Come My Way marks the first collaboration between Sơn Tùng M-TP and Tyga. The project is scheduled for worldwide release on May 28, with the song launching in Vietnam at 8 PM local time.
