Car crashes into White House fence, driver accused of threatening to kill President Biden

Washington [US], May 24: A person has been arrested and charged with attempting to kill or harm US President Joe Biden after ramming a truck into the White House security fence.
US police said the driver rented the truck and deliberately crashed into the car barriers outside Lafayette Square park in front of the White House at about 10 pm on May 22. No one was injured in the incident.
The driver was identified as Sai VarshithKandula (19 years old), living in Chesterfield, Missouri. The US Secret Service arrested the killer at the scene.
Police searched the vehicle and discovered a flag with a black and red fascist swastika.
President Joe Biden was informed of the situation on the morning of May 23. White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said the leader was glad no one was injured and thanked agents and law enforcement officers for their quick response.
